Tennis Court Construction and Resurfacing in Mesa, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley

Sonoran Athletic Court Builders builds new tennis courts and resurfaces and repairs existing ones in Mesa, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Gilbert and Phoenix. We pour the slab, lay the acrylic surface, stripe the lines and install lights, fencing and windscreens.

New Tennis Court Construction in Scottsdale and Mesa

Sonoran Athletic Court Builders handles tennis court construction for homes, HOAs, schools and clubs in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Mesa. We manage every step of a new tennis court, from bare ground to the final walk-through. A new court takes about a month.

Site Prep, Grading and Drainage

We prepare the site, grade it and excavate where the court will sit. We plan drainage so rain runs off the court and doesn't pool on the surface. Good grading at the start keeps low spots from forming later.

Post-Tension and Rebar-Reinforced Concrete Slabs

We offer two kinds of concrete slabs for tennis courts. A post-tension slab uses tensioned steel cables inside the concrete. A rebar-reinforced slab uses steel bars. A post-tension slab needs about 3 weeks to cure before it can be surfaced.

Asphalt Base

We also build tennis courts on an asphalt base. We prepare and grade the base before the court surface goes on.

Acrylic and Cushioned Surfaces

We finish tennis courts with an acrylic court surface. We also install cushioned surfaces, which are easier on the knees and joints. A cushioned layer goes on during a new build.

Line Striping, Custom Colors and Logos

We stripe the tennis lines and paint the court in the colors you choose. We can paint a custom logo on the court for a school, club or family name.

Permits and HOA Approvals

Sonoran Athletic Court Builders handles the permits and HOA approvals for your tennis court. You don't have to file the paperwork yourself.

Tennis Court Surfacing and Resurfacing in Arizona Sun

We handle tennis court surfacing and resurfacing in Mesa, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Gilbert. Every resurface starts with pressure washing and cleaning. Then we apply a full acrylic resurface with new color coats and re-stripe the lines. You can keep your colors or pick new ones. If the lines are the only problem, we re-stripe them by themselves.

A tennis court resurface usually takes about a week, and longer when the court needs crack repair. In full Arizona sun, a resurfaced tennis court lasts about 3 years. A court with some shade lasts about 5 years.

Tennis Court Repair in Paradise Valley and the East Valley

We repair tennis courts in Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, Mesa and Chandler. We fix cracks and fill low spots where water puddles after rain. We repair surfaces that are peeling, bubbling, faded or worn. Most repairs take about a week.

A slab that has heaved or sunk can't be repaired with a new surface. We tear it out and build a new tennis court.

Tennis Court Lights, Fencing and Windscreens

We install new LED tennis court lights, upgrade old lights to LED and set light poles. Lights can run on timers or app controls. We offer low-glare lights that keep light off your neighbors' yards, and we repair court lights. An electrician who owns his own electrical company does the electrical work.

We install chain link tennis court fencing, windscreens and privacy screens.
