Sonoran Athletic Court Builders builds backyard basketball courts for families in Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek and Mesa. Most backyard courts are half courts with one hoop.
Families call us when their kids start playing basketball, or when they buy a house with a court that needs work. We build a new half court, or we resurface the court you already have.
We handle full basketball court construction for schools, athletic departments, churches, HOAs and parks across the Phoenix area. We prepare and grade the site, excavate and plan drainage. The court sits on a post-tension concrete slab, a rebar-reinforced concrete slab or an asphalt base.
We finish the court with an acrylic surface, a cushioned surface that's easier on the knees, or a modular snap-together tile court. We stripe the lines, paint your colors and add custom logos. A new court takes about a month, because a post-tension slab needs about 3 weeks to cure. We handle the permits and HOA approvals.

We resurface and repair basketball courts in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler and Scottsdale. A resurface starts with pressure washing and cleaning. Then we apply a full acrylic resurface, re-stripe the lines and change the colors if you want new ones.
We repair cracks, fill low spots where water puddles, and fix surfaces that are peeling, bubbling, faded or worn. Most repairs and resurfaces take about a week. A slab that has heaved or sunk needs a rebuild, so we tear it out and pour a new one.

We install basketball goals on new and existing courts. We install LED court lights, upgrade old lights to LED, set light poles and add timers or app controls. An electrician who owns his own electrical company does the electrical work.
We install chain link court fencing, windscreens and privacy screens around basketball courts.
Sonoran Athletic Court Builders also builds hard court volleyball courts and multi-sport courts in Mesa and the East Valley. A multi-sport court carries lines for more than one sport, so one slab works for basketball, pickleball and volleyball. We install volleyball nets, and we resurface and repair volleyball and multi-sport courts too.
